Abstract  Abstract

A method of determining associated with the satellite positioning system reference time of the method and device. when working in one embodiment the reference time may be used to determine other navigational information. Such a navigation information may includes the location/position of a satellite positioning system (SPS) receiver. In one embodiment the SPS receiver and a group of relative speed between one or more satellite used to determine deviation of time expressed by the SPS receiver and the reference time. According to another embodiment of the invention an error statistic is used to determine the reference time. According to one embodiment of the present invention the two records are compared to determine the time at least a portion of two satellite information record of each representative. In one configuration the SPS receiver is one of a mobile device which works together with a base station for a combination of one or more of the method according to the described method to determine time and/or other navigational information.
