Abstract  Abstract

A mobile communication system in which a mobile station device transmits reception quality information to a base station device, wherein the reception quality information indicates the quality of a signal received from the base station device, characterized in that the base station device transmits information for instructing the transmission of reception quality information without uplink data communication link included in the uplink data transmission resolution signal, and the mobile station device transmits the reception quality information without uplink data according to information for prescribing the transmission of reception quality information without uplink data. This enables the mobile station device to transmit reception quality information including a large amount of information, even if there is no uplink data between the mobile station device and the base station device, and it is possible to perform transmission control responsive to the amount of information and the frequency of transmission of quality information reception transmitted from a mobile station device. Consequently, more efficient communication management (scheduling) between the base station device and the mobile station device can be achieved.
