Abstract  Abstract

A wireless transmission / reception unit, WTRU, configured to use control information for an uplink shared channel or an uplink shared channel, the WTRU comprising: circuitry (circuits) configured to receive control information that includes control information uplink or downlink control through the same physical downlink control channel; circuitry (circuits) configured to determine whether or not the control information is for the WTRU based on the cyclic redundancy check bits, CRC, of the masked identity, masked ID, of the WTRU; circuitry (circuits) configured to determine whether or not the control information is for the allocation of radio resources for the uplink shared channel or the downlink shared channel, in which a first WTRU ID is associated with only uplink control information and a second WTRU ID is associated with downlink control information; and circuitry (circuits) configured in a condition in which the control information is expressly made for the WTRU: to transmit data on the uplink shared channel in a condition in which the control information is to allocate radio resources for the uplink shared channel and to receive data on the downlink shared channel in a condition in which the control information is to allocate radio resources for the downlink shared channel.
