Abstract  Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for communicating information related to scheduling of uplink data transmission of a mobile terminal that transmits data in uplink to a plurality of base stations during soft handover of the mobile terminal in a mobile communication system. Further, at least one of the plurality of base stations schedules uplink data transmission of the mobile terminal in soft handover. Various embodiments of the present invention provide communication systems, radio resource controllers, base stations, and mobile terminals that perform different tasks of the disclosed methods. The maximum amount allocated to the mobile terminal for all base stations communicating with the mobile terminal in soft handover in order to provide a way to reduce the impact on the total received interference power of uplink transmissions during soft handover It is proposed to provide information on other resources. Thus, each base station can schedule other terminals while taking this information into account.
