Abstract

Provided is a switching information notification method and a base station in which a target side can effectively select a secondary service cell based on transmitted information, and a time delay is reduced. In this method, a source base station switches a terminal to a target main service cell belonging to the target base station, and the source base station notifies the target base station of the signal quality of the target main service cell.
