Abstract
In one example, the device for coding video data determines a context for coding the transform coefficients of the video block, based on an area of the video block where the transform coefficients occur, and uses the determined context to entropy code the transform coefficients And a configured video coder. The region may comprise one of a first region comprising one or more upper-left 4x4 sub-blocks of transform coefficients of the video block, and a second region comprising transform coefficients of a video block outside the first region.
