Abstract
FIELD: data processing.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of audio and speech coding. In the method, the linear prediction coefficient conversion device converts the first linear prediction coefficients, which are calculated at the F1 first sampling frequency, into second linear prediction coefficients at second sampling frequency F2, different from the first sampling rate, and comprises apparatus for calculating, on real axis of unit circle, power spectrum corresponding to second linear prediction coefficients at the second sampling frequency, based on the first linear prediction coefficients or equivalent parameter; apparatus for calculating on real axis of unit circle of autocorrelation coefficients from power spectrum; and means for converting the autocorrelation coefficients to the second linear prediction coefficients at the second sampling frequency.EFFECT: ensuring effective reduction of the amount of computation when converting linear prediction coefficients.2 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl
