Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a piece of user equipment (UE) node B and the method. UE executes a series of actions facilitating to serve the high speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) cell change during the process to shorten said waiting period and potentially prevent the packet data unit (PDU) during transmission loss occurs. a new criterion is introduced for the UE to generate an RLC PDU state report. notifying the radio resource control (RRC) procedure the indicated HS-DSCH cell change the UE generates a PDU status report to recover the buffer data of the source node B more efficiently. and signal sending relative PDU status for each wireless link controller can be associated with the HS-DSCH transport channel. Further once the node B serving HS-DSCH cell changes the SRNC after accepting the PDU state report it begins transmission of new data in target cell.
