Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a convenient device and method for managing interference assigned dynamic uplink and downlink configuration. determining whether the first cell to one or more adjacent cells caused by the flexible sub-frame of the wireless frame interference less than the predetermined threshold level or associated with one or more of the adjacent cell whether to operate as a downlink subframe. in response to satisfying the determination condition the first wireless frame is associated with a first cell of a first flexible sub-frame assigned to operate at the normal transmit power level as a downlink subframe. in response to the determination condition is not satisfied flexible first sub-frame of the first wireless frame is associated with a first cell configured to uplink sub-frame or operate to reduce the transmitting power level of a downlink sub-frame of one.

An apparatus and method for managing interference to facilitate allocation of a dynamic uplink and downlink configuration are disclosed herein. Determining whether a first cell causes interference less than a pre-determined threshold level to one or more neighboring cells or whether fiexible subframes of radio frames associated with the one or more neighboring cells operate as downlink subframes. In response to the determining condition being met allocating a first fiexible subframe of a first radio frame associated with the first cell to operate as a downlink subframe at normal transmit power level. In response to the determining condition not being met allocating the first fiexible subframe of the first radio frame associated with the first cell as one of a downlink subframe operating in a reduced transmit power level or as an uplink subframe.
