Abstract  Abstract

A SUBSCRIBER UNIT (10) OF A MULTIPLE ACCESS RADIOTELPHONE SYSTEM BY TIME DIVISION (TDMA) IS RECONFIGURED IN EACH TIME INTERVAL FOR A TESELATION OF POWER CONSUMPTION IN WHICH CIRCUIT COMPONENTS (12,13,21 , 29,56,57,58) THAT ARE NOT NECESSARY TO PROCESS COMMUNICATION SIGNS IN THAT TIME INTERVAL ARE DECREASED OF POWER. TO MINIMIZE THE EXTENSION OF THE CIRCUITSHIP TO BE SUPPLIED TO DISTRIBUTE POWER CONSUMPTION CONTROL SIGNS, TECHNIQUES AS A CLOCK FREQUENCY CONTROL (26,30,70) OR POWER DECREASE COMMANDS (31,67,68) ARE USED TO MODIFY THE POWER CONSUMPTION OF A CONTROLLED CIRCUIT COMPONENT WITHOUT TRULY CONTROLLING THE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUITS. A PROGRAMMABLE RING FREQUENCY LOGIC (20) CONTROLS THE FREQUENCY OF A CALL SIGNAL GENERATOR (58), AND A HIGH FREQUENCY CALL CONTROL SIGNAL (70) IS CONNECTED AND DISCONNECTED IN THE CALL OPERATING CADENCE. AN EXPANSION HEAD IS SUPPLIED TO ALLOW TO SERVE VARIOUS LOOPER CIRCUITS WITH THE SAME RADIO EQUIPMENT TO REDUCE THE POWER CONSUMPTION PER LINE.
