Abstract  Abstract

A method for transmitting a signal, the method comprising: generating (S531) information from layer 1, information from layer 1 to signal the Physical Layer Conduction data, PLP, which deliver a service sequence; encode the PLP data by means of a LDPC low density parity check code coding scheme; forming (S533) a signal frame comprising a second pilot signal and a payload that includes a first part of the encoded PLP data, in which the second pilot signal includes information from layer 1, information from layer 2, L2, which includes service information to describe a broadcasting service in the encoded PLP data, and a second part of the encoded PLP data; modulate (S535) the signal frame and insert a first pilot signal that precedes the second pilot signal in the signal frame; and transmitting the signal frame through at least one radio frequency channel (RF), in which the first pilot signal has information for a fast Fourier transform size, FFT, for the encoded PLP data, characterized in that Layer 1 information is encoded using an error correction coding scheme that includes a reduction scheme and a penetration scheme, in which the information of the encoded layer 1 is interleaved by bits; and the first pilot signal, P1, includes a useful part, a cyclic prefix obtained by displacing a first part of the useful part in frequency, and a cyclic suffix obtained by displacing a second part of the useful part in frequency.
