Abstract  Abstract

A method for receiving a broadcasting signal, the method comprising: receiving the broadcasting signal that includes a signal frame, the signal frame that includes a preamble and a payload, in which the preamble of the received signal includes a first pilot signal, P1, and a second pilot signal, P2, which includes data from Physical Layer Conduit, PLP, encoded by a decoding scheme of low density parity check code, LDPC, in the payload and the second pilot signal, P2, and the second pilot signal, P2, includes layer 1 signaling information, L1, which identifies PLP data within the signal frame and layer 2 signaling information, L2, which includes service information to describe a Broadcasting service in the PLP data within the signal frame, the L1 signaling information is encoded into data using an error correction coding scheme that includes a shortening scheme and a perforation scheme, and the first pilot signal, P1, includes a valid part, a cyclic prefix obtained by displacing in frequency a first part of the valid part, and a cyclic suffix obtained by displacing in frequency a second part of the valid part. in which the method further comprises: detecting the first pilot signal, P1; demodulating the broadcasting signal by an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing method ODF; parsing the signal frame; decoding the signaling information L1 of the second pilot signal , P2, and decode the PLP data, which are in the second pilot signal, P2, and in the payload, from the signal frame analyzed syntactically by a decoding scheme of low density parity check code, LDPC.
