Abstract
A signal transceiving method and an apparatus thereof are provided to distinguish a signal frame accurately and reduce the detecting error of the signal frame. A data generator generates the second pilot signal including a layer 1 data area to which layer 1 data is assigned. A frame builder(130) arranges the second pilot signal in a preamble of a signal frame, and arranges a PLP(Physical Layer Pipe) in a specific region within the layer 1 data area. Modulators(150a-150r) modulate the signal frame. The layer 1 data includes pre-signaling data and post-signaling data.
