Abstract  Abstract

To develop a method and a system that allow D2D communication to be incorporated into an LTE system such that a required change to the current system is as small as possible.SOLUTION: A terminal device includes a transmission unit that transmits, on an uplink shared channel resource assigned to a communication device, a direct link buffer status report which is a message for providing a base station device with information on the amount of D2D data to be transmitted from the communication device to a receiving side terminal of D2D communication, and a reception unit that receives a D2D grant to schedule D2D resources for the D2D communication. The direct link buffer status report has a lower priority than uplink buffer status report and higher priority than data from a logical channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
