Abstract  Abstract

FIELD: physics communications. ^ SUBSTANCE: transmission power control method is claimed. The technical effect is that the E-DCH absolute grant channel (E-AGCH) may reach a mobile station even when it is in the process of soft handover. For that purpose the method of transmission power control for the control of the E-AGCH transmission power including the absolute uplink user data communication rate transmitted from the cell controlled by the radio communication base station to the mobile station includes stages at which: the radio network controller of the base radio station which controls the currently serving cell is used to notify about the offset between the E-AGCH transmission power and the dedicated physical channel (DPCH) transmission power when the mobile station is in the process of soft handover between the currently serving and non-serving cells; the E-AGCH transmission power is determined in the serving cell which was notified about the offset based on the offset communicated; and transmitted to the mobile station using the E-AGCH transmission power determined in the serving cell. ^ EFFECT: possibility of reaching mobile station signal in any communication mode including soft handover mode. ^ 3 cl 22 dwg
