Abstract  Abstract

Channel coding and multiplexing procedure in a CDMA communication system in which data frames having one or more transmission time intervals (TTI) are received in parallel through a plurality of transport channels and multiplexed to one serial data frame, the procedure comprising the steps of: receiving the data frames and segmenting the data frames into radio frames into a number of radio frame equalizers (101 to 10N, 151 to 15N), the number being of radio frame equalizers (101 to 10N, 151 to 15N) at least equal to the number of transport channels; and multiplex (713) the radio frames to form the serial data frame.
