Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel encoding/multiplexing apparatus and method in which a multi-transport channel frame is converted to a multi-physical channel frame particularly in a channel communication apparatus and method for a mobile communication system.

SOLUTION: In the channel encoding/multiplexing apparatus and method for the code division multiple access (CDMA) communication system each of radio frame matchers (equal to or more than the number of transport channels) in the channel encoding/multiplexing apparatus has a radio frame segmenter and segments the transport channel frame into radio frames having different transmission time intervals. A multiplexer multiplexes the radio frames and outputs the result in a serial data frame form.
