Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel communication apparatus and method specifically the channel coding/multiplexing apparatus and method for converting a multi-transport channel frame into a physical channel frame.

SOLUTION: The channel coding/multiplexing apparatus apparatus and method in code division multiple access communication system is provided. In the channel-coding/multiplexing apparatus each of radio frame matchers (the number thereof being equal to or greater than the number of transport channels) has a radio frame segmenter and segments each of transport channel frames into radio frames having different transmission time intervals. A multiplexer multiplexes the radio frames to output them into a serial data frame form.
