Abstract  Abstract

An apparatus for channel coding and multiplexing, for a CDMA communication system in which, data frames having one or more temporary transmission intervals (TTIs), are received in parallel via a plurality of transport channels, and multiplexed to form a serial data frame, the apparatus comprising: a number of radio frame adapters (101 to 10N, 151 to 15N), each of the radio frame adapters being adapted to receive the data frames , to determine the number of fill bits to be inserted in each of the data frames, and to insert the determined number of fill bits in the data frames, where each of the radio frame adapters, comprises a device of radio frame segmentation (121 to 12N, 171 to 17N), adapted to receive the radio frames, and to segment the radio frames including the fill bits in the radio frames; and a multiplexer (200, 600) adapted to multiplex the radio frames, in the serial data frame.
