Abstract
A kind of WTRU and to medium access therein control（MAC）The method that entity is reset, this method include：Detect the RACH of predetermined quantity（RACH）At least one of trial or radio link failure；Once detect the RACH of predetermined quantity（RACH）At least one of trial or radio link failure, random access problems are indicated to one or more layers higher than MAC layer；And once detect the RACH of predetermined quantity（RACH）At least one of trial or radio link failure, reset and require to the one or more of layers of instruction MAC layer higher than the MAC layer.
