Abstract  Abstract

Methods and apparatus are described in which an unlicensed spectrum is used for Long Term Evolution (LTE) communications. The first method includes receiving feedback information from a user equipment (UE) over a primary component carrier (PCC) uplink in the license spectrum. The second method includes transmitting feedback information from the UE to the evolved Node B (eNB) over the PCC uplink in the license spectrum. The feedback information may be directed to signals sent to the UE via the downlink in the unlicensed spectrum. (Selection) Figure 17A
