Abstract  Abstract

Service data is transmitted in the wireless communication system. A first service mark which is transmitted is received by a group of customers of a subdistrict in the system. The group of customers does not include all customers of the district. Every customer of the group receives the service mark. Every customer of the group monitors second service mark which is transmitted in high speed down shared channel (HS-DSCH). The service mark and the second service mark are transmitted in HS-DSCH. Every customer of the group detects the second service mark and receives service data of HS-DSCH.
