Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A node B using high-speed channel and supporting point to multi-point service is provided to optimize usage of radio resources and quality of service by supporting a point to multi-point service within a radio communication system by using a high-speed channel. CONSTITUTION: A common control channel generator is used for transmitting a service identifier through a common control channel. A high-speed down-link shared channel generator(26) is used for transmitting the service identifier through a high-speed down-link shared channel and retransmitting point to multi-point service data in response to a request signal of an auto repetition request receiver. A channel quality measurement processor(30) is used for receiving channel quality measurement values from the users. A modulation and coding set selection unit(28) is connected to the channel quality measurement processor in order to select a modulation and coding set by using the channel quality measurement values. A repetition request receiver(31) is used for receiving a repetition request. A plurality of antennas(32,34) are used for radiating the high-speed down-link shared channel and the common control channel.
