Abstract  Abstract

FIELD: communication.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication systems. Embodiments of the scheduler and method inside QCI for scheduling inside QCI are described for operation within the wireless access network in which data streams are displayed on a medium using quality class identifiers (QCI) for quality of service (QoS). In some embodiments the scheduler inside QCI can classify packets of one or more data streams having the same QCI with an auxiliary QCI based on information classification inside the QCI received from the user equipment (UE). Auxiliary QCI can indicate the priority of scheduling for packets of data streams having the same QCI. Scheduler inside QCI can schedule packets for transmission over a downlink transmission channel through a radiomedium between eNodeB and the UE based on the auxiliary QCI.EFFECT: use of auxiliary QCI allows eNodeB to provide support to QoS for data streams in applications which are displayed on the default medium.20 cl 6 dwg
