Abstract  Abstract

A method and apparatus for transmitting a SlotdMode attribute in a wireless communication system are described. A slot mode attribute message is generated and transmitted over a communication link, wherein the slot mode attribute message includes an 8 bit Length field, an 8 bit AttributeID field, an 8 bit SlotCycleBase field, an 8 bit SlotCycle1 field, an 8 bit SlotCycle2 field, an 8 bit SlotCycle3 field 8-bit WakeCount1 field and 8-bit WakeCount2 field, wherein the Length field indicates the length of complex attributes of octets, the SlotCycleBase field is set to SlotCycleBase used in calculating a period, and the SlotCycle1 field is set to SlotCycle1. Wherein the SlotCycle2 field is set to SlotCycle2 and the set SlotCycle2 field is greater than or equal to SlotCycle1, the SlotCycle3 field is set to SlotCycle3 and the set SlotCycle3 field is greater than or equal to SlotCycle2, and the WakeCount1 field is WakeCount1 Is set, and the WakeCount2 field is set to WakeCount2. The set WakeCount2 field is greater than or equal to WakeCount1.
