Abstract  Abstract

Method for the use of a receiver station in a wireless communication system where a transmission station uses diversity in the transmission of time for the transmission of data signals, which includes the steps of: receiving first signals from the transmission station corresponding to data; receiving second data signals from the transmission station corresponding to said data, then said first data signals corresponding to said data are received so that said first data signals and said second data signal are not received simultaneously, characterized by the fact of: receiving the first and second data signals as first and second modulated spread spectrum PN data signals; widen the first spread spectrum modulated data signal PN received using a first PN code; widen the second spread spectrum modulated PN signal received using a second PN code; reconstruct the data of the first and second widened spread spectrum modulated data signals PN, and where the first PN code and the second PN code correspond to portions of a current PN code.
