Abstract  Abstract

A code-division multiple access subscriber unit, CDMA, comprising: an antenna (1300), coupled or connected to a receiver (1304) configured to receive a forward jump signal that includes first and second radio frequency transmitted signals , such that the second transmitted radio frequency signal carries the same information as the first transmitted radio frequency signal, and the information carried by the first transmitted radio frequency signal has been extensively encoded, in accordance with a first extension code segment, during a first time interval, and the information carried by the second transmitted radio frequency signal has been extensively encoded, in accordance with a second extension code segment, for a second time interval that does not overlap with the first time interval, of such that the second extension code segment is different from the first segm extension code entity; and a circuit, operatively connected to the receiver and configured to process or process the jump forward signal that carries the information based on the jump sequence.
