Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a method of treating timer in radio communication system; the method comprises starting a timer-poll-periodic timer used in radio link control (RLC) acknowledged mode (AM) entity; executing reset program used in acknowledged mode (RLC AM) entity in radio link control and restarting timing-poll-periodic timer as expire reaction thereof before the reset program is finished; the invention claims the other eight type timers after reset or re-establishment of RLC in order to avoid RLCAM deadlock of the radio link control acknowledged mode entity which causes low service quality.
