Abstract  Abstract

A method of signal processing is disclosed. The method includes: calculating a first burst indication signal that indicates whether a burst is detected in a low-frequency portion of a speech signal; calculating a second burst indication signal that indicates whether a burst is detected in a high-frequency portion of the speech signal; generating an attenuation control signal according to a relation between the first and second burst indication signals; and applying the attenuation control signal to the high-frequency portion of the speech signal to generate a processed high-frequency signal.
