Abstract  Abstract

1. A method for decoding a speech signal, the method comprises:! - obtaining a plurality of narrow-band filtering parameters, an encoded narrow-band excitation signal and a plurality of high-band coding parameters, wherein the high-band coding parameters comprise a plurality of high-band filter parameters that characterize the spectral envelope of the high-band signal and a plurality of gain factors that characterize the temporal envelope of the high-band signal; ! - calculation of the spectral enhanced signal by applying a nonlinear function to a signal based on a narrowband excitation signal; ! - generating a synthesized highband signal based on a plurality of highband filtering parameters and a highband excitation signal based on a spectral enhanced signal; ! - modulation of the gain envelope of the synthesized highband signal based on a plurality of excitation coefficients to form a highband signal; and! - combining a narrowband signal and a highband signal to form a speech signal. ! 2. The method for decoding a speech signal according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of gain factors are applied at various time offsets according to the decoded subframe. ! 3. The method for decoding a speech signal according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of gain factors are applied at various time shifts according to a finite weighting function. ! 4. The method for decoding a speech signal according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of gain factors are applied to the highband excitation signal. ! 5. Wear
