Abstract  Abstract

1. A method of generating a highband excitation signal, wherein said method comprises the steps of generating a spectrally expanded signal by spreading a signal spectrum that is based on a coded lowband excitation signal; and sparse-eliminating filtering of a signal that is based on a coded lowband excitation signal, wherein the high-frequency excitation signal is based on a spectrally enhanced signal, and the high-frequency excitation signal is based on the result of said sparse-eliminating filtering. ! 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said performing sparseness filtering includes performing a sparseness filtering of a spectrally enhanced signal. ! 3. The method of claim 1, wherein said performing sparseness filtering includes performing sparseness filtering of the highband excitation signal. ! 4. The method of claim 1, wherein said performing sparseness filtering of the signal includes performing a filtering operation for the signal according to the all-frequency transfer function. ! 5. The method according to p. 1, in which the said implementation eliminates sparseness filtering the signal includes changing the phase spectrum of the signal without significant modification of the amplitude spectrum of the signal. ! 6. The method according to claim 1, comprising the step of deciding whether to perform sparing-eliminating filtering of the signal, which is based on the encoded lower band excitation signal
